A gratitude of thanks to the important people in my life.
i would like my parents and a certain someone. they have helped me through the impt and depressing things in my life. they have tried to protect me form the evils in my life. i seriously thank you guys for putting in so much effort and time and energy and money on me. my life has been colour-fied by you guys. you have sacrified so much time for me. you have taken the time off your schedules and the time was given to me instead of going out with friends, golfing and all that. in the rain, literally and figuratively, you have helped me, sheltered me. thanks for all the help that you have given me. i hjave disappointed you guys again and again. but you have not given up on me and helped me become who i am. form a naive person to what i am today. you have helped me come this far in my sports and music. and my grades too. my emotional quotient has increased andbecause of you i have learnt to be a better person with a big heart. i have become a better person. emotionally and physically.
to that certain someone:
you are only 1 yr older than me but i really really thank you for all that you have helped me through. that period of time when i was down. thanks. =)

Beauty, physically or internally, is achieved through pain and hard work.
another of my theories. i know that its super super random but look, the easiest and fastest way to physical beauty is PLASTIC SURGERY. its super ex but face it, it is fast and its effective. its painful to endure and painful to your wallet. it is hard work cause a few days after the surgery you have to follow strict instructions. but its still the easiest way.
about inner beauty, its achieved thru hard work and pain cause the human nature is selfish, evil, jealous of others and somewhat uncaring. if you want to have a big heart to be not jealous of ppl's achievements, caring and truly caring. to be able to rejoice and sympathise and empathise with people when they are sad, it is truly a big thing to achieve. some people, like counselers, somehow do it. cause of the hard work and pain they went thru. the training and the way they have to let go of their emotions whenever they counsel pple is no easy feat. the letting go of things does not come easily to people. they have gone thru alot. their EQ (emotional quoitent) is VERY high. they have the amazing ability to do what they know they have to do, unlike us, who basically slack the whole year except the exam periods.
NJC Funfair and today, 20th may 2006
today went to Ruimin's hse to do MEGA. yes i went there and slack and then STONED at the band room there. listen to alumni and band prac. then screamed at kexin and val to hurry up so we can go o the NJC funfair. then we bought stuff. then there was this screaming game thing. i saw my friend's name there : priscilla goh. so i called her and asked whether she was at NJC funfair. the only thing i got to say is " hi priss. you at NJC fu-" then she started screaming how she missed the chance to get into NJC IP and how much she likes NJC blablabla. at 20 times per min. CRAZY. then she was ranting about how she missed the biggest chance in her life and that she is stuck in RV IP. like whatever. then i was NICE and went to buy this NJC bear for her. planning to give her at class chalet. then anyway went back NY to play bball. we took a ride on kexin's dad car to get to the front gate of NY when we were outside NJC. nvm so lame. then we went there, didnt see a bball. so went to play piano. then i looked out and saw this vollyball there. so we CHOING AR. went there started 3-pointer-ing. anyway then anyhow shoot a bit. then so lan. then the NJC ppl saw us so lan, moved away. lol. yep then went home. to NOW. XD so HAPPY.
Music Is My Painkiller ; Sports Is My Ecstacy ; Psychology Is My Interest
some may ask : why psychology?
the answer is NOT that im psycho la. its that
i'm just interested in the way the human brain works and how the mind reacts and how to study for exams better by understanding the brain. yep. its pretty techinal. oh well...thats it for today.
7:58 PM
shit ass 113. i couldn't stand it lar.
is totally unfair for them to get all the aircondition, tablets, STUFF that we don't get to have but we pour money into. like WTF. ass hole.
anyways. WE SUPPOSE TO DO MEGA NOW. WTF. okay. shall randomly type my post later.
i think the school is unfair.
ok correction: sch IS unfair, a certain someone gets everything she wants and loses all the nice things she has, then WE just dont get those things and then we want those things and that we dont get them. sucks. yes and then SHE thinks she is so oh perfect that she has no problems whatsoever. WHATEVER.

Now i know why DA VINCI CODE. is NC16.
http://www.eonline.com/News/Items/0,1,19046,00.html?rsslatestA Catholic leader in India seems to think so. Joseph Dias, head of the Catholic Secular Forum, started a hunger strike in downtown Bombay Tuesday and is encouraging his fellow Indian Roman Catholics to join him until the film adaptation of Dan Brown's best-selling novel is banned in their country.
And that's just one of a wide array of protests taking shape as the Wednesday
world premiere of The Da Vinci Code at the 59th Cannes Film Festival approaches.
Dias may be home in time for dinner. India's Information and Broadcasting Minister, Priya Ranjan Dasmunshi, announced today that he has put The Da Vinci Code's premiere in his country on hold for the time being after receiving more than 200 complaints.
"We are a secular country," Dasmunshi told reporters. "On any sensitive issue, we should take action after we examine every aspect. We have to be careful." He said that the movie, scheduled to open Friday, would probably just be delayed by a day or two.
There are about 18 million Roman Catholics in India, including 500,000 in Bombay, and most of the rest of the country's 1 billion-strong population is either Hindu or Muslim.
Reverend Myron Pereira, a member of India's Central Board of Film Certification panel, told the Associated Press that there was no reason to ban The Da Vinci Code, saying that the film is a work of fiction and "does not portray anything in an obscene fashion."
"People can protest anything since we live in a democracy," he said.
For months various religious groups all over the world have spoken out against
Ron Howard's film, condemning its premise that suggests Jesus had a child with Mary Magdalene before he died. And now that the movie is more than a gleam in Hollywood's eye, the angry and scandalized are coming out of the woodwork.
Earlier today a South Korean court shot down a Christian group's request to block screenings of the film.
"As it is clear that the novel and movie are all fiction… there is no probability that the movie can make viewers mistakenly believe the contents of the movie are facts," Judge Song Jin-hyun stated in his ruling. South Korea is home to about 13 million Protestants and 4.6 million Roman Catholics.
Judge Jin-hyun gets it. But try telling that to the 200 members of the Greek Orthodox Church who peacefully marched to parliament Tuesday in Athens.
"All religions merit respect, so why don't they show respect in this case instead of attacking all that we hold sacred?" Athanasios Papageorgiou, president of a St. John the Theologian group in Peania, Greece, told reporters.
Christian groups in Thailand made a very old-fashioned move Tuesday in actually demanding censorship from their government. Organizations such as the Evangelical Fellowship of Thailand asked that The Da Vinci Code's final 15 minutes be cut and that subtitles "disrespecting Jesus" be altered. The groups also took a cue from the Catholic sect Opus Dei and asked that a
disclaimer about the film's untruthfulness be tacked on before and after the film.
(Howard and Sony Pictures Entertainment have
refused to add disclaimers.)
That National Council of Churches in Singapore, where the film has received an NC16 rating, have planned lectures to separate fact from fiction for moviegoers who might otherwise be deluded by Leonardo Da Vinci and his wily ways.
Although the problems with The Da Vinci Code have mainly stemmed from religious opposition, including the Vatican's call for a
boycott, the film may just be an equal opportunity offender.
According to the AP, members of the National Organization for Albinism and Hypopigmentation have expressed displeasure with one of the film/novel's central villains, who happens to be the 68th evil albino portrayed on film since 1968. At least this one is played by
Paul Bettany, right?
"The problem is there has been no balance," the head of the organization, Michael McGown, told the AP. "There are no realistic, sympathetic or heroic characters with alblinism that you can find in movies or popular culture."
And just in case you thought there were any unturned stones…
Philippine censors almost turned The Da Vinci Code into
Midnight Cowboy, stopping just short of giving the film an "X" rating (which certainly would have been a first for a
Tom Hanks movie) although they agreed that it was for "adults only."
In the end, government officials couldn't give the movie the sign of the diagonal cross because it "does not constitute a clear, express or direct attack on the Catholic church or religion" and does not libel or defame anyone.
That… and Dan Brown pretty much made it up.
"Those groups, like the conservatives who want it banned, maybe they can tell their friends, discourage their friends from watching it," Marissa Laguardia, chairwoman of the Philippine government's movie-review panel, told the AP.
"But it has to be shown. Otherwise we will be the only country that will not show this film. Thirty-six countries have already reviewed this film and they have not banned it. So are we just out of the Stone Age?"
I respect the catholics and christians. i hope that this thing will resolve quietly and immature people who watch it will not go around teasing people.

Just wanted to give you guys a whole lot of info. XD totally irrelevant to each other.
Questions
Ask the right question and you will get the right answer. The way your brain evaluates anything is by asking questions. Whenever anything happens in your life, your brain will immediately try to figure it out what the meaning of the event is, and then use that information to determine how you should react. The way in which you find meaning for the events in your life is through asking questions.
You brain will always find the answer to any question you ask it. If you ask yourself “how could I be so stupid?” your brain will find an answer. Probably like “cause you are a big idiot”. Similarly if you ask questions like “what do I need to do to be smart?” your brain will figure out a positive answer.
You don’t find light by studying in the darkness. What I mean is that it is much more useful to ask HOW to get what you want, instead of asking why you got what you didn’t want.
The dumbest question in life is not asking questions.
Personal motivation
Self-motivation is the power that raises you to any level you seek.
If you are truly successful, you gladly accept personal responsibility for self-motivation. You start yourself because you have the key to your own ignition switch.
A common reason for human failure is total disregard for the power of self-motivation.
It is impossible to motivate someone else until you’ve learnt to motivation yourself.
Opportunities are everywhere for one who understands and uses self-motivation.
Self-motivated people make commitments, ordinary people make promises.
Ultimately, the question of what we get out of life depends on how well we match what we want with self-motivation.
The power of personal motivation comes from a definite, personalized plan of action and the application of that plan every day of your life.
Before you can move upward toward pre-determined success, you must trigger your own motive power.
Never to discover your own power and your potential is to be mentally bedridden all your life.
Modeling
The recipe for success is that you should model after successful people. Life is a lot like a chocolate cake. You can either make it through trial and error or you can follow a recipe. Whatever dream you have, chances are someone is already living it. Modeling allows you to duplicated the results of someone who has already succeeded, the best way to model someone is to spend at much time as possible with them. Most successful people are happy to help someone else learn how to do what they are good at, especially if the person is young.
When you are modeling someone, your aim is to find out as much as possible about him or her. You want to understand why they are so successful. You can do this by asking them specific questions about how they do what they do.
As you model people, you want to understand their model of the world. What do they believe? What language do they use? What mental/ emotional state they are in? What physiology are they in? What are their rules? What drives them? What do they value?
Work out exactly how their minds work and then practice doing exactly the same.
9:17 PM
i need to just run away and pretend that this isn't real,
that everything is okay.give me one day,
just one day of escape.
Was I the only one to notice
That human nature doesn't work that way
They tell me if I look deep inside me
That I can find my own way
I only find a rebel and a fool there
Who won't admit that he's afraid
I thought I was holding on to freedom
But locked my soul up in chains
I need a hero who'll dare to find me
Fly to my rescue and crash through the wall
Announce my freedom,
bring me to my senses
Gather me into his strong arms
And carry me off. . . to safety
What is this talk about a Savior
Well does he listen, is he even there?
And should I be asking him directly?
But why should he consider my prayer?
Well, I don't quite know how to do this
But Jesus, I can't save myself
So here I go calling out for mercy
And crying out for your help(So if you hear me. . .)
This is from my "senior"'s blog. yep. but i think its quite appropriate for me now. cause im totally lost.
7:57 PM
HEY. long time no psycho post so decided to talk about some things.
Stereotyping People and Thingsexamples of stereotypical things that shocked me. MEGA. Da Vinci Code.
many people think that MEGA has to be SUPER SUPER thick for a magazine. so we did ALOT of articles. its, as Ms koh says, undue stress. thats why we have NO energy left. even to complain.
Da Vinci Code is NC16. all because of some immature kids. then the critics stereotype us. oh well, then the government and all that keeps telling us not to stereotype people. whatever. its so stupid.
and people also stereotype CCAs. like they think guys in choir are gay-ish and and trackers are all the same. it is NOT true. i shall not elaborate on this point cause i may insult some people.
Late HWabout handing in late homework which is kinda native to our class. a certain someone thinks she knows everything about the late hw. its like we dont hand in cause UNLIKE her, that ass, we dont have aperfect life and sometimes we dont have so much time and we have a life unlike HER. whatever. so what if she has a perfect family? with OUTINGS. wth. its DISGUSTING. whatever. all she does is ask ppl to do things for her. oh well, back to topic.
late hw is caused by 1) lack of pride in work
2) no time and other things on our mind
3) cant concentrate cause of the things going on in life. usually caused by a CERTAIN SOMEONE.
then these problems are caused by the insecurities of life and a certain someone. the purprose of her life is being a barrier for others. she is so HIGH UP now. but she will fall one day. her ego is big. easily punctured. she will fall one day and she will fall HARD. and many shall enjoy it. XD
this is all i have which is not alot. i think i flame pple more openly on this post. the others are just kinda more indirectly flaming people. please do NOT blow up at me. if you know hwo that person is, PLEASE do NOT post in my tagboard. Thankyou.

Inside every one of us
Burning like fire in the night
Gleaming down and lighting the way
For hopes and drames to shine one day
It gives a brillance to our lives
And sparkles like diamonds
With a glowing light
So hold out your light
For all to see
Aand never let go
Your dreams are the key.
Live like there's no tomorrow. Dream like your life will never end. Cliche things like these are actually true. Try to motivate yourself instead of getting all worked up and depressed over nothing. Chin up

The Prayer
I pray you'll be our eyes
And watch us where we go
And help us to be wise
In times when we don't know
Let this be our prayer
As we go our way
Lead us to a place
Guide us with your Grace
To a place where we'll be safe
La luce che to dai
I pray we'll find your light
Nel cuore restero
And hold it in our hearts
A ricordarchi che
When stars go out each night
L'eterna stella sei
Nella mia preghiera
Let this be our prayer
Quanta fede c'e
When shadows fill our day
Lead us to a place
Guide us with your grace
Give us faith so we'll be safe.
Sognamo un mondo senza piu violenza
Un mondo di giustizia e di speranza
Ognuno dia la mano al suo vicino
Simbolo di pace e di fraternita
La forza che ci dai
We ask that life be kind
E'il desiderio che
And watch us from above
Ognuno trovi amore
We hope each soul will find
Intorno e dentro a se
Another soul to love
Let this be our prayer
Let this be our prayer
Just like every child
Just like every child
Needs to find a place,
Guide us with your grace
Give us faith so we'll be safe
E la fede cheHai acceso in noi
Sento che ci salvera

Grasping into thin air,
I can reach but cannot touch
Things we wish would go away
Things that hurt too much
Why do we face such tough times
While others go unscathed
Where do we find a shelter
When it rains on our parade
Life will give us roses
But every petal falls
Leaving joy and sadness
From the memories we recall
So if time's out greatest treasure
And love is all we need
Let's give each other all we have
Nothing else is guaranteed

My ex...is non existent.
Maybe I should... just disappear out of this world.
I love... MYSELF!
I don't understand...trigology.
Love is... blind. thats what everyone says.
Somewhere, someone is... suffering. or maybe enjoying life. i know almost everyone else in the class is at cca.
Forever is... NOTHING. its all a cliche.
I never want to... screw up again.
When I wake up in the morning... i always laze around first. which makes me miss my bus.
My past was... all the bad stuff combined with gd stuff.
I get annoyed when... someone pissed me off?
Parties are for... people to have fun and try to avoid parents.
My dog is... nonexistent.
My cat is... nonexistent too.
Kisses are... nice?
Tomorrow... i will choing mega sia.
I really want... to get rid of all the projects now and have like unlimited access to money.
I have low tolerance for people... who are so stuck up that they think the world revolves around them.

Long absence. not much to say but oh well...just blog ba. not much psycho crap to crap about but 1 thing is i realised how good i have it. all the things i have are just too good. life is too good for me. i don't deserve all these things that i have, all the things that make my life worth it. actually i have no direction what-so-ever. its like my life is just BLANK. the pages of my life is all blank. totally blank. so now i've decided to paint a rosy picture and try to work towards that. i can be all that i ever wanted and all that i ever dreamed of if I don't let other's opnions and comments get to me. i can fulfill all my expectations that are somewhat realistic. i CAN do it. hopefully anyway. okay im talking crap. all of a sudden, i realised how much i have and how muc better off i am than some people. people who think they have it bad, too bad for you cause the world doesn't revolve around you, you know. and you are not the center of the universe.
oh by the way, my blog is pretty insultive cause MOST of my posts are flaming people discreetly. try to work it out. okay but the choir one wasn't directed at ruimin. i was trying to get you guys to kinda stop believeing that i can go for track comps and do relatively well. no way. cause 1) my knee utterly kills me after about 600-700m. 2) i haven't trained in a long time and there's no way i can survive 3.2km or anything 3) i never said i was good at track. read the previvious post ok? 4) all of the above.
i'm sorry if i disappointed you guys or something. jiayou for your future endeavours. =D
*disclaimer*
i didn't not intend to flame anyone with this post but if you think i did, you are WRONG. totally wrong.
